The Herb Garden at Ker Place is shaped in a traditional, colonial style with beds placed at equal intervals around a center circle.
Appropriate to the house built from 1799-1803, plants include chives, chamomile, catmint, bergamot, aster, candytuft, lamb’s ear, baptisia, oregano, parsley, and artemisia just to name a few.
Each spring replacements and annuals are planted.
